We believe that if you do not have any form of life or disability insurance yet then Essential Life is a good place to start. This product provides you with the flexibility to choose the level of death and disability cover suitable for you and your family. You will also become a Gold Club member where you will receive benefits that include; medical assistance, legal assistance and trauma counselling. This policy has 3 excellent benefits all under one premium:

  • Family funeral cover – add a spouse or life partner and up to 5 children.
  • Accidental death and personal disability cover – you and your spouse will be covered in the event of an accidental death or disability (functional impairment).

There are no blood tests nor medical examinations required, and only 5 easy medical questions to answer. You will also become a Gold Club member where you will enjoy the following benefits; Medical assistance, Legal assistance and Trauma counselling. Pays out a once-off cash lump sum in the event of your death.

Why should I have life insurance?

What is a ‘beneficiary’?

If you have a life insurance policy, the beneficiary is the person who will receive the death benefit should you pass away. You appoint one or more beneficiaries on your policy. If you do not appoint a beneficiary, your death benefit will be paid into your estate.

Can I change the beneficiaries on my life policy?

Yes. You can change your beneficiaries by chatting to Dara on our website. Alternatively, you can call your Personal Portfolio Consultant on 0861 001 021 to make the necessary changes.

If anything happens to me, who will submit the claim?

If you pass away or are seriously injured in an accident, you (if you are able), your appointed representative or the beneficiary listed on your policy can submit a claim. They can call us on 0861 001 021 and we will do everything in our power to ensure that the claims process is as smooth and hassle-free as possible.
